Marina d’Ail, Monaco

Monaco's secret marina
Located to the southwest of Monaco, Marina d’Ail has the potential to become a unique marina destination.

The proposals for the enhancement of the waterfront public realm and landscape of Marina d’Ail seek to create a new unique destination with improved accessibility to enhanced public amenities. The scheme utilises a simple palette of local stone and Mediterranean planting to create a strong legible character for the new development. Subtle manipulation of levels afforded new views and visual links to the galleries and restaurants along the harbour wall, while a new roof garden over a retail block significantly increased the public amenity.
