Tara and Milena Residences

Embracing the Adriatic
A unique mixed-use development at the heart of Porto Montenegro marina village.

Tara and Milena Residences were part of the second phase of apartments to be developed at Porto Montenegro marina, overlooking the unique water inlet of Venice Square.

The mixed-use development has an active retail frontage on the ground floor, with a series of podium roof gardens and private terraces for the residential units above. A central communal pool terrace provides stunning views across Venice square and across the Adriatic coastline.

Lushly planted terraces create privacy and a verdant outlook embracing the dramatic views of the Adriatic while providing privacy from the surrounding streetscape. A Mediterranean planting palette has been carefully composed to provide all year-round colour, whilst tolerant of the coastal climate.
Tall elegant Italian cypresses and stone pine trees are placed within the corners of the terrace and opposite architectural columns to soften the architecture, reminiscent of a hilltop village.
The planting scheme balances evergreen species and seasonal flora utilising plants such as lavender, pittosporum, rosemary, cape daisies and bougainvillea to create a superb all year-round display.
The planting is designed to trail over the edge of the terraces, to allow green views from the ground level public realm, further softening the building and contributing to the public realm character.
