Monastero Santa Rosa, Amalfi

Height of luxury
Set on top of a cliff on the Amalfi coast, Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel is a unique setting.

The design for the hotel gardens at Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel sought to sensitively complement the existing 15th Century Monastery and steep topography of the site. A series of cascading garden terraces, delicately planted with aromatic herbs and shrubs, create a procession of scented walkways leading down the hillside. The intimate garden spaces offer areas for privacy, rest and relaxation, all with dramatic views towards the sea below.

Dining terraces on the upper levels and sun decks situated on the lower levels all benefit from an aspect that captures the setting sun over the horizon. The hotel gardens culminate at the cliff top edge with a stunning infinity edge pool offering spectacular views across the Mediterranean Sea.
